We hosted a “traditional” street racing event on Saturday, June 27th. No time slips. No track prep. Hand drop during the day and then a flashlight start after dusk. We had approximately 275 drivers and almost 1,500 spectators on the grounds at Caprock Motorplex. The evening was filled with grudge racing between all types of cars, trucks motorcycles and even a four wheeler on slicks. The burnout contest was the highlight of the event with the winner taking home $250 in cash. The Mexico Racing League was onsite selling merchandise and filming the event. We can’t wait to see their video. If you missed out, here are some photos. We’ll see you the weekend of July 24th at the test and tune on Friday evening and the bracket race on Saturday featuring the The Curtis Huff Memorial Jr Dragster Blowout.
